Russel B. Watson IV Owner

It started with family, and it continues with family. Russel is a 3rd generation nurseryman, and his grandfather Joe House owned and operated House Nursery for 50 years. It was a 5,000-acre nursery in East Texas selling to box stores such as Lowe’s and Home Depot, where Russel got his green thumb and in-depth plant knowledge. He has been married to Whitney, his wife, for six years, and they have a son named Tyler Rex and four senior dogs.

Formal Education

Russel graduated from Texas Texas University with an Ag Business degree. After graduating, he worked in a large commercial landscape company in Texas for many years before relocating with his wife to San Diego. In SoCal, he expanded his horticultural expertise until he decided to pursue owing his own family run company.

Russel currently holds a Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper (QWEL) Cerfitication. This program is an EPA Watersense labeled professional certification in irrigation system.
